Maria’s research is focussed on multimodal imaging fusion to enable accurate and selective sampling of radiomic-derived tumour habitats, with special interest in kidney and ovary cancer. Her research activities include fusion of preoperatively acquired tomographic data (CT, MRI) and the derived tumour habitats with real-time ultrasound to allow for real-time habitat-guided fusion biopsies.
