Dr Lorena Escudero

With a background in Particle Physics, Lorena recently joined the efforts of the Advanced Cancer Imaging Programme and MFICM. Her current research interests focus on applying her experience in image analysis and machine learning to cancer research, with a strong advocacy for software development, and a keen interest in developing AI-methods. She is also part of the NCITA (National Cancer Imaging Translational Accelerator) repository team, and her role is to build and manage a local imaging repository in Cambridge.
