Mary’s research involves magnetic resonance imaging and spectroscopy studies of human tumours in vivo, to develop better methods of diagnosis and treatment monitoring and to increase understanding of the underlying biology. Her focus is on metabolic imaging methods using deuterium or hyperpolarized carbon-13.
