As CareIntellect for Oncology enters the healthcare landscape, it promises to revolutionise cancer care management, empowering clinicians and improving patient outcomes.
Our partnership with GE HealthCare and CUH has reached another point of success entering into a formal collaboration to integrate CareIntellect for Oncology into CUH. This groundbreaking initiative represents the first use of real-world integration in the UK.
CareIntellect for Oncology, the latest innovation in cancer care management support, will be evaluated in a clinical setting and is set to transform the way clinicians organise and visualise patient data. Developed to address the complexities of cancer treatment, the CareIntellect for Oncology tool streamlines the patient journey and aims to support the oncology care team in their routine clinical practice and facilitate decisions, including suitability for clinical trials.
With the latest phase now underway, clinical care teams, the CUH eHospital team, GE Healthcare, and academic experts from the University of Cambridge are working together to integrate systems and evaluate the platform’s impact.
“I am delighted with the incredible progress that this project has made. CareIntellect Oncology truly showcases the power and benefits of collaborative innovation,” said Helen Bolton, Consultant in Gynaecology and Gynaecological Oncology, Department of Gynaecological oncology, Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. “This next phase is an exciting step towards our goal of delivering better care for all and ensuring a lasting impact for the future.”
The CareIntellect Oncology platform is set to drive significant advancements in patient care, and this phase marks a crucial moment in its development. The collaboration between the various teams is not only accelerating innovation but also laying the foundation for improvements in healthcare delivery for years to come.
