Dissemintating the role of personalised medicine in Romania

January 22, 2026

In November 2025, ICM researcher Dr Gabriel Funingana was a speaker at the first conference on women’s health organised by a patient group in Cluj-Napoca, Romania. This is the first conference organised by a group of patients with hereditary cancer syndromes, Associatia Gabrielle, in Romania, Gabriel’s home country.  He stated “It was one of my great achievements to speak on a panel about the role of personalised medicine and how we can make it a reality in Romania and other countries as well”.

We are so proud of our researchers and the global impact ICM research has, the videos made during the meeting received national media coverage in Romania.
