Open Lab Initiative

July 18, 2022

Are you or your colleagues looking for new opportunities to exchange scientific ideas and interact more closely with other cancer research groups? If so, the Cancer Research UK Open Lab Initiative is for you!

The Open Lab Initiative connects research groups with shared interests to spark discussion, stimulate fresh ideas and generate new collaborations. Indeed, our expert matchmakers make meeting ideal research collaborators a breeze!

We are now expanding this established networking platform by opening it up to any research group based in the UK that is undertaking cancer-related research.

By joining the Initiative, you will:

  • Be part of a growing virtual community of over 200 cancer research groups from across the UK,
  • Expand your network by connecting with others in the cancer research community,
  • Easily find and develop your next research collaboration,
  • Have access to expert matchmakers to connect you with like-minded or complementary research groups.

Further information about the Initiative can be found on the CRUK website using this link.

To join the Initiative, please complete our Expression of Interest form, which can be accessed here: Join the Open Lab Initiative

If you have any questions, please email the Open Lab Initiative Team at: openlab@cancer.org.uk.
